Frequently Asked Questions
Why is break-even different from my entry price?
Because fees apply on both open and close. Even a perfect round-trip costs you money. Break-even is the price where fees are fully covered.
Does leverage affect break-even price?
Leverage does not change the break-even price directly โ only fees and side (long/short) determine it. Leverage affects how much margin you need.
What are Hyperliquid perpetual futures fees?
Hyperliquid charges maker fee โ0.01% (rebate) and taker fee 0.035%. Maximum leverage is 50ร. This calculator uses these defaults but you can adjust them for your actual rate tier.
Is this calculator specific to Hyperliquid?
Yes โ the exchange is pre-selected to Hyperliquid with live prices pulled from their API. You can switch to any other supported exchange using the instrument selector.
