Binance allows up to 125× on its perpetual futures — but the exchange maximum is not a recommendation. The higher the leverage, the smaller the adverse move needed to liquidate you, so most traders use a fraction of the available ceiling.
This calculator uses Binance's maintenance margin rate (typically 0.5% for major pairs) together with the asset's daily volatility to find the leverage that keeps a normal daily move from reaching liquidation — well below the 125× ceiling Binance offers.
